FoxGear Rats Distortion / Overdrive Pedal

Old School Distortion Pedal Inspired by Over a Quarter Century of Vintage Distortion Tone

The Foxgear Rats Distortion was inspired by the old school Proco Rat distortion pedal design from the late 1970‘s. Few sounds have meant more in the development of Rock N’ Roll than the ‘Rats’ distortion tone.

The Foxgear Rats perfectly reproduces the vintage ‘Rats’ distortion sound so widely loved by generations of Rock, Metal and Alternative Musicians including Doug Aldrich, the Foxgear signature artist. And thanks to Foxgear’s noise-free, transparent circuitry, you can enjoy that vintage tone without any damage to your amp’s base tone.

Like all of Foxgear’s  Professional Compact series pedals, the Foxgear Rats Distortion measures only 2.3” x 4.7” x 1.1”, and can easily fit any pedalboard. Constructed with completely screw-free housings, the Rats features an acrylic face plate that lights up and glows warmly once connected to power, and comes with a limited 5 year warranty.
