The PRS SE T40E pairs ovangkol back and sides with a solid spruce top in a Tonare Grande body style, delivering a full, luxuriant tone with enough volume for any musical situation. With the SE T40E, PRS matched select tonewoods with their hybrid X/Classical bracing to create a thunderous voice that projects with breathtaking volume, while still delivering enough nuance to make it perfect for picking and fingerstyle playing alike.

When plugged in, the Fishman GT1 pickup system delivers a tone that is both natural and dynamic, allowing the T40E’s tone to travel well from the studio to the stage. The Fishman GT1 pickup system features both an undersaddle pickup and a preamp mounted in the soundhole, with ergonomically designed volume and tone controls that are easy to access while you are playing.

The wide/fat neck is made from Mahogany and is designed to feel substantial in the hand, featuring a 20-fret ebony fretboard with classic PRS bird inlays and the signature PRS headstock design. Hardware includes all bone nut and saddles with high quality PRS designed tuners for rock solid tuning and stable intonation. All PRS SE series acoustics come with a high-quality hardshell case included.
