Supro 1275JB Tri Tone 3 Pickup Electric Guitar

Extremely Rare Vintage Supro Revives an Art-Deco Classic With Modern Appointments for Improved Tone and Playability

The Supro 1275JB Tri Tone 3-pickup electric guitar revives an art deco classic with a host of modern appointments that transform it into a real player’s guitar. Though the unique single-cutaway body style and tuxedo-black art-deco aesthetic may make this a masterpiece worthy of an art exhibit, modern appointments like set-neck construction, Tune-O-Matic bridge with reverse stair-step tailpiece, silky satin finish neck and a sculpted neck joint that allows easy access to the highest register of the fretboard make the latest version of the Tri Tone a serious player’s guitar with authentic vintage mojo.

The unique single-cutaway body has been crafted from solid Mahogany and features set neck construction and a unique neck joint that makes playing up and down the fretboard smooth and easy. The Maple neck has a scale length of 24.75“, which eases the string tension and a thin-C shape with a silky smooth satin finish on the back, and a 22-fret Pau Ferro fretboard, making the Tri Tone extremely comfortable to play.

Though it looks like this Supro Tri Tone is equipped with three humbuckers, it actually has two Ralph Keller-designed Vistatone pickups in the middle and neck positions, and an overwound Alnico Bridge Pickup for scorching lead tones. Vistatone pickups are actually noise-cancelling single coil pickups that deliver a ton of output and can handle everything from Jazz to modern rock, while the overwound Alnico bridge pickup delivers a scorching hot sound that is perfect for overdriven lead playing. Each pickup has an independent volume control, while a master volume control and a 5-way pickup selector switch give you total control of your sound.
