Today's Lefty Ovation Balladeer pays tribute to historic design while incorporating the many advances made along the way. The lefty L771AX Timeless Balladeer features a deluxe soundboard made of hand-selected, AA solid spruce, making it the heart and soul of the Balladeer. The mid depth cutaway body shape represents the latest evolution of Ovation's pioneering, Lyrachord design. This makes the lefty Balladeer a comfortable fit, whether sitting or standing. Ovation's slightly shorter scale length, slightly narrower nut and 10" fretboard radius give the 5-piece satin mahogany/maple neck a fast feel. The traditional inlaid oak-leaf rosette offers an elegant touch against New England burst finish. The Balladeer's OP-Pro preamp and OCP1K pickup produce uncompromising plugged-in performance making this beautful Lefty Ovation L771AX Balladeer stage ready.
