This left handed Westerly Series D-240E Dreadnought combines the vintage aesthetics common to classic Guild models of the 1960‘s with up-to-date appointments that give it modern feel and playability. The D-240E features a Dreadnought size body with a solid Spruce top, an arched Mahogany back and Mahogany sides to deliver all of the power you will ever need with the balance and melodic sweetness of Mahogany. The arched back design gives the D-240E excellent projection and volume with great sustain and a lush sound.

Featuring Guild’s vintage C-shaped Mahogany neck and a Pau Ferro fingerboard with a 16“ radius, this Guild Dreadnought offers players really easy playability, and with the on board pickup system you can plug this Dreadnought into an amp or sound system for an authentic acoustic sound when you play live. Soundhole mounted tone and volume controls allow you to dial in your sound while staying concealed, keeping the vintage Guild vibe fully intact.

Premium hardware appointments include a compensated bone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, a vintage period-accurate tortoise pickguard and Guild Tuning Machines, giving this Guild Dreadnought a real vintage look and an amazing sound.
