Collectible Martin Dreadnought With Classic Playability and Sound
C.F. Martin Guitars is famous for making high quality musical instruments, but they are not known for making unique commemorative guitars, which is what makes the Martin X-Series DX420 so special.
The Martin X Series DX420 features a custom printed illustration by artist Robert Goetzl, commemorating the historic vote on proposition 64 in California, making a statement about this time of great cultural change in a way that is tasteful and understated. This commemorative Martin acoustic is beautiful and certainly collectible, but don't forget that underneath the commemorative illustration there is an awesome Martin Dreadnought.
The DX420 features a full sized Dreadnought body with a printed top, mahogany printed high pressure laminate sides and back, and a high performance neck with 20 Fret FSC certified Richlite (Black) fingerboard with classic dot inlays. The body is light and comfortable to play and the neck is thin and fast, making the DX420 fun and easy to play for hours.
The DX420 comes stage ready with Fishman Sonitone electronics nestled inside the sound hole, allowing you to plug in and dial in the tone you’re after. As beautiful as it is, the DX420 sounds and plays even better than it looks!
