Modeled after the Classic 4-string Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Bass, the Sterling by Music Man StingRay Ray34 LH-NT is the latest entry in Sterling’s StingRay bass lineup. Featuring a classic design with a host of modern appointments, the StingRay 34 delivers the big, bold sound that StingRay basses are famous for at a price that today’s bassists love.
Featuring a modern contoured Swamp Ash body, a comfortable Roasted Hard Maple neck, and Roasted Hard Maple fretboard, the Ray 34 in a gorgeous natural Ash finish is on point in every way. The Roasted Hard Maple neck has a 34" scale length, a 9.5" fingerboard radius, and a silky satin finish making it extremely comfortable to play in all musical situations.
The electronics include a Sterling by Music Man designed alnico humbucker in the bridge position that is coupled with a 3-band active preamp that allows you to dial in the exact tone that you need. From a thunderous low end growl, to bright and punchy highs, the Sterling by Music Man left handed Ray 34 covers a wide range of musical territory. The hardware includes a rock solid Sterling by Music Man designed bridge with open gear tuners that have a vintage look with modern functionality.
